Overview

Performs diverse specialized project administration for the Charlotte, NC chapter office.

 

Reports to:         Director of Operations

 

THIS IS A P/T TEMPORARY POSITION STAFFED BY TARGETCW.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative, secretarial and clerical support in the Charlotte office
  • Process mail, receipt of funds, coding and deposit processing
  • Maintains office supplies and equipment
  • Maintains assigned department and program records, files and databases.
  • Receives and screens telephone calls, resolving routine and some complex inquiries
  • Assists in the coordination and planning of chapter meetings.
  • Meets and greets visitors as necessary
  • Recruits and manages office volunteers
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote the field and campaign fundraising initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • High School diploma, College degree preferred
  • 1-2 years administrative experience 

Position Requirements: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including email, calendar and contacts
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including verbal and written
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff, management, vendor, BOD etc
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of standard business machines and computer software
  • Professional with sound judgment
