Summary: Big Climb is the premier stair-climb event – taking place in major markets across the country, volunteers – or climbers – climb 40+ floors of landmark buildings to reach the highly acclaimed observatory with breathtaking views of the entire city. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Big Climb event raises money through individual and team fundraising, sponsorship, and entry fees which is then invested in its mission to fund blood cancer research and support services for patients and their families. In 2020, Big Climb has the ambitious goal to expand into new markets and bring in nearly $2 million in new revenue.
The Campaign Specialist will be responsible for customer service for Big Climb, with a goal of increasing individual and team fundraising, strengthening mission connectivity, and enhancing the event experience. They will be expected to take initiative and be a self-starter, able to work independently of others yet able to excel in a collaborative environment. They must maintain professionalism, show flexibility, be customer-service oriented, have a strong attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and changing priorities. The Campaign Specialist must be able to effectively communicate the mission, values, and scope of the institution.
THIS IS A FULL TIME, TEMPORARY POSITION PAID THROUGH A STAFFING AGENCY. ASSIGNMENT WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY 34 WEEKS.
THIS IS A WORK FROM HOME POSITION THAT CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES. WOULD PREFER SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO RESIDE IN THE PACIFIC TIME ZONE AREA.
