    Overview

    LLS Talent Development is seeking a Project Assistant. This position provides administrative support for the Talent Development Team and the respective assigned projects. This role provides general administrative support, filing and project task management to support a department in the HR division that focuses on employee learning and the advancement of skills and knowledge of LLS employees and volunteers.

     

    *Please note this is a FT Temporary position that will last up to 9-12 months paid through a staffing agency and assigned to work at LLS.  This assignment is 35 hours a week.  

    *This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Schedule appointments and meetings for the team as necessary.
    • Create, organize and maintain project filing system. Keep project files up to date on a daily basis.
    • Participate in projects and make recommendations as needed to ensure successful completion.
    • Assist in ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Assist in the completion of timely and accurate weekly reports.
    • Support the development of detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation.
    • Follow up on inquiries regarding project initiative.
    • Assist other HR staff when needed and as appropriate.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    1. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    2. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Box, & Outlook.
    3. Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
    4. Proven ability to meet deadlines.
    5. Comfortable using and learning new technology.
    6. Strong work ethic, able to work independently with desire to learn and improve, and ability to manage time and complete assigned projects.
    7. Promotes teamwork and collaboration within the department and externally by positive, cooperative attitude with willingness to take on additional duties as directed.

     

    Education and Experience:

    1. Bachelor's degree in HR, Marketing, Communication or related area or equivalent experience highly preferred.
    2. Experience working in an office setting.
